Lath Rites

Well, it has happened. All of the lath that is going to leave this house has left. Lath, part of the comedy team lath & plaster (often seen touring with knob & tube) will be convenient chimenea fuel for a good chunk of summer, if summer ever arrives.

Tomorrow and Friday there are a few things to be taken care of, including this little trouble spot. I'm still honing my picture editing skills, but what the hell, you can see the problem.

The new partition wall will be dying into the exterior wall and that little piece of 2x4 will be protruding out into the room if I don't take care of it. So I'll take care of it.
